x-Track RFID and Barcode Asset Tracking Solution

x-Track Asset Tracking System

x-Track Asset Tracking Solution - Dual technology RFID and Bar code tagKeeping track of company assets is crucial to any business. Cross-Check can develop bespoke asset tracking systems including the management software, to enable you to track your company's assets from location to location or in or out of your premises.

By simply adding a barcode or RFID tag (dependent on system requirements) to assets such as computers, loan products, pallets or roll cages you can check if your asset has been returned or track them to a specific location.

Pallet/Roll Cage Tracking

x-Track Asset Tracking Solution - Dual technology RFID and Bar code tagTraditional wooden pallets can be a costly consumable, especially when handling thousands of pallets. Many companies are now turning to re-usable pallets and roll cages, which have proven to be a far more cost effective solution - but only if they are returned and undamaged.

Cross-Check's Pallet Tracking System uses RFID technology, to give real-time visibility of pallets. Each re-usable pallet or roll cage is embedded with an RFID tag, when it is loaded ready for shipment, details of the customer and shipment are written to the tag. Once the pallet is returned the pallet history is downloaded and the pallet inspected and if damage is found the customer can be correctly charged.

Also using Cross-Check's Asset Tracking Management Software, identifying missing pallets is determined by printing a report and all pallets unaccounted for can be charged to the proper customers and likewise should they be returned at a later date the customer can be properly credited.

Using RFID tags and readers to track pallets and roll cages will greatly reduce missing assets and costs incurred by your company for damaged pallets being returned. In addition to improving efficiency, as all the relevant information is written to the RFID tag and stored on the management software no additional paper is required.

Sample & Loan Tracking

Many companies are in the business of selling one kind of product or another, and in some instances offering your customers samples or even loaning equipment can help seal that deal.

However, loan and sample goods being returned damaged or not being returned at all can become a costly practise. At Cross-Check we understand that strapping an RFID tag to every asset you wish to track is not always practical and can become an expensive venture.

Dependant on your requirement we may recommend a simple barcode based asset-tracking system, each sample or loan kit is issued with a unique barcode. This barcode when scanned, using either hand held barcode scanners such as Hand Held Products 3800g or mobile computers including, Datalogic Falcon 4410 or Psion Ikon, tells the system which sample or loan kit it is and provides complete information such as kit components, who it was issued to, the period of time the loan is valid for etc.

The asset tracking management software will update with information each time a loan kit or sample is sent to a potential customer with a customer details and date stamped. When the goods are returned the barcode is scanned and the details are checked and the kit is booked back in. This easy to use system will reduce the need for paper work and enable you to quickly identify where each sample or loan kit is at anyone time.

Computer / Laptop Tracking

Not all of your company's assets are stock related. Your IT equipment is a critical part of your business and keeping track of laptops is vital.

Using direct part marking & 2D codes you can record information such as laptop number, basic software information, and where the laptop is allocated.

We start by listening to your requirements and together we develop a working specification. We then set about customising the core product to fit exactly what's best for your business. This ultimately results in an affordable WMS configured exactly as you wish and designed around your process.
