The VB2000 provides a safe, reliable and proven solution to packaging validation and package coding management and is the most powerful and flexible device to-date.

The VB2000 provides users with the complete range of validation functions expected from the VeriBox range plus an unprecedented level of flexibility. The VeriBox 2000 is enclosed in food grade stainless steel and sealed to IP65 to cope with the stringent cleaning regimes often encountered in food production.

Production runs can be short hence VeriBox 2000 was designed to keep set up times to an absolute minimum. Product information such as the barcode, product name, and description is stored on the VeriBox 2000 along with other user defined fields. To start the system, the operator has two options, the first is to select the product from the stored list or use a hand held barcode reader to scan the product package barcode - it's as simple as that.

Once production is running, Veribox 2000 reads and checks every barcode on every single product. Production stats are displayed on the VeriBox touch screen in real time so line managers can view overall line performance and production statistics at a glance. The system has the ability to monitor several serial and digital inputs, especially useful in tandem packing lines such as sandwich packers. Vision systems to read OCR, and validate Best Before Dates can also be linked to Veribox to enhance overall performance.

Simple on-screen menus and drop-down tables provide the means to "connect" devices. No special programming skills are required as the entire system may be configured from the touch screen. Outputs may be used to stop a conveyor, drive a labelling machine or drive an inline weighing machine.

A further feature of VB2000 is the ability to easily network multiple units. In network mode, VeriBox connects to host software called VB-server which manages all the product data files and configurations centrally. Products can be added, maintained or deleted from one central point. This feature saves a considerable amount of time and simplifies ongoing file management. The more Veribox' 2000's connected, the greater the time saved and consequently reduced cost!
